The role focuses on building a comprehensive distribution strategy and strengthening partnerships with hydraulic, fluid power, and industrial equipment distributors. You will recruit new partners, set performance criteria, and drive revenue growth through joint business plans, while traveling nationally to meet with partners and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive sales, channel management, or business development in industrial markets.
• Proven success expanding distributor networks.
• Experience selling technical products through independent distributors.
• Background in hydraulic components, fluid power, or related markets.
• Ability to grow sales with partners while developing new relationships.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, and strategic planning skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a 2–3 year national distribution growth strategy.
• Evaluate distributor network performance, coverage, and potential.
• Recruit qualified new distribution partners across the U.S.
• Set criteria and ongoing evaluation for distributor performance.
• Build strategic relationships with regional and national distributors.
• Drive revenue growth through joint business plans with partners.
• Represent the company at trade shows and distributor meetings.
• Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities.
