Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a National Credit Coordinator to provide credit and collections support for national customers. The role includes customer setup, approving credit terms, monitoring terms, and collecting on delinquent accounts with guidance from the Corporate Credit Policy. The position is fully remote across the U.S.

( Hawaii and U.S. Territories excluded ). The role requires 2 years of data entry in credit/collections, 1–2 years in credit term approvals, and solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years' data entry experience in Credit/Collections or related financial role.
• 1–2 years' experience approving credit terms and managing portfolios for adherence to terms.
• 1–2 years' experience using D&B and other financial risk management tools.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.

Responsibilities

• Make credit decisions and establish payment terms within authorities per policy.
• Monitor customer applications/setups and ensure ownership linkage for aggregation.
• Obtain documentation, analyze credit terms, and approve terms for new accounts.
• Set up customer accounts and secure proper credit approvals for terms.
• Gather financial data for risk analysis and adjust credit limits as needed.
• Communicate delinquencies, negotiate payment plans, and ensure timely collections.
• Prepare annual credit reviews and recommend limits per policy.
• Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Support centralized collections processes and produce required reports.
