Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead data analytics activities on a national scale. You will collect, analyze, and present underwriting, claims, and financial data to support client decisions and renewals.

You will collaborate with senior analytics and benefits teams, deliver dashboards and reports, and drive improvements in analytic methods and client outcomes on a national scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics & Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy and decision-making.
• Underwriting Support: Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Client Consulting: Deliver data-driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Sales Support: Partner with Producers and Benefits teams by providing analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Reporting & Presentation Development: Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
