Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a National Analytic Consultant to lead analytics across employee benefits nationally. The role partners with producers and benefits teams to deliver data-driven insights for underwriting, renewals, and strategic decisions.

Responsibilities include creating dashboards, reports, and financial exhibits, while advancing analytics methods and technology to improve client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Data analytics & interpretation of underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data.
• Underwriting support with recommendations for pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Deliver data-driven insights to help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly.
• Maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices to improve consistency and results.
• Utilize analytics, reporting, and BI tools to enhance client outcomes and efficiency.
• Analyze trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Recommend and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
• Partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, Account Teams, carriers, and stakeholders to support client objectives.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide analytical guidance and knowledge sharing to support team development.
• Maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies, funding arrangements, analytics tools, and market trends.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and established analytical procedures.
