Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead nationwide data analytics, collection, interpretation, reporting, and client consultation, supporting underwriting evaluations, renewal negotiations, funding analyses, and strategic decision-making.

The role partners with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and Benefits teams to deliver data-driven insights that drive growth and operational excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting methodologies, funding arrangements, and healthcare pricing tools.
• Experience with experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication; customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to interpret complex data and convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support IOA Benefits Group data analytics activities on a national scale.
• Collaborate with Senior Analytic Consultant, Producers, and Benefits teams to deliver data-driven insights for underwriting, renewals, and funding analyses.
• Provide analytical support to client consultations, strategy development, and decision-making.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and financial exhibits to communicate complex information clearly.
• Maintain analytics methodologies and best practices to improve consistency and results.
• Evaluate analytics tools and BI platforms to optimize client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Analyze trends and benchmarking data to identify optimization opportunities.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align analytics with client objectives and business growth.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor and share knowledge with team members.
