Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead data analytics on a national scale. You will collect, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, and financial data to support client decisions and renewal negotiations.

Collaborating with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and Benefits teams, you will develop dashboards, reports, and financial exhibits that translate complex trends into actionable insights for underwriting strategies

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative or business field
Strong knowledge of underwriting, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools
Experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal, written, and presentation abilities with customer service focus
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to translate complex data into clear findings for technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

Lead data analytics activities for IOA Benefits Group on a national scale
Support underwriting evaluations, renewal negotiations, and funding analyses
Deliver data-driven insights to inform client decisions and program performance
Provide analytical support for renewals, prospecting, and business development initiatives
Create reports, dashboards, and financial exhibits that communicate complex information clearly
Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, standards, and best practices
Evaluate analytics tools and optimize technology to improve client outcomes
Analyze trends and benchmarks to identify optimization opportunities
Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
Collaborate with senior consultants, producers, account teams, and carriers
Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
Share knowledge and provide analytical guidance to team members
Maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies and industry trends
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Champion IOA values in all interactions
