Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead national data analytics, collect and interpret underwriting, claims and financial data, and deliver insights for client decision‑making. You will partner with senior consultants, producers and benefits teams to support underwriting evaluations and funding analyses.

You will develop reports, dashboards, and financial exhibits, optimize analytics processes, and champion best practices to improve

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business/finance/economics/statistics/math-related field.
Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements and pricing tools.
Ability to assess risk, claims, and financial indicators through data analysis.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and consultative skills.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and data interpretation for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze and interpret underwriting, claims, financial and benefits data for client strategy.
Evaluate underwriting data and support carrier pricing, negotiations and funding analyses.
Deliver data-driven insights to explain risks, trends and program performance.
Provide analytical support for renewals, proposals and business development.
Create reports, dashboards and financial exhibits to communicate complex information clearly.
Develop analytics methodologies and reporting standards for consistency.
Utilize BI tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
Analyze trends and benchmarking data to identify opportunities for optimization.
Suggest process improvements to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy and delivery.
Collaborate with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and account teams to meet client objectives.
Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Share knowledge and provide guidance to team members.
Stay current with underwriting methodologies, funding arrangements and market trends.
Ensure compliance with company policies and analytical procedures.
