Job summary

Planet seeks a Customer Onboarding Specialist to deliver high-quality technical onboarding experiences, helping customers adopt Planet data, tools, and workflows.

Within the Education & Enablement team, you will coordinate onboarding activities, deliver live sessions, and support ongoing enablement for strategic customers across Latin America, working with Customer Success, Technical Support, Professional Services, Product, and Revenue Operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in customer onboarding or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with GIS/remote sensing.
• Hands-on Python scripting.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored onboarding experiences for Planet products, data, and workflows.
• Lead onboarding kickoff calls, coordinate activities, and deliver live sessions.
• Provide ongoing technical enablement to strategic customers across Latin America.
• Build trusted technical relationships and share best practices.
• Design and improve onboarding resources and learning materials.
• Coordinate activities across Education, Customer Success, Support, and Product.
• Monitor engagement and feedback to improve onboarding journeys.
