Job summary

ApartmentIQ is seeking a Product Analyst to bridge multifamily real estate acquisitions and data science. You will build data-driven features for investors, leveraging market intelligence from CoStar, Yardi Matrix, and RealPage Market Analytics.

Collaborate with leadership, product, and engineering to deliver actionable investment insights. The role involves applying AI techniques to accelerate research, developing scalable tools, and ensuring the product reflects real-world investor needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in multifamily commercial real estate, with underwriting, deal analysis and pro forma modeling.
• Experience using CoStar, Yardi Matrix or RealPage Market Analytics to source market data.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Experience applying AI/ML techniques to accelerate research or extract insights from data.
• Familiarity with modern data science practices, including model building and experimentation.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining data insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Research multifamily datasets to identify opportunities for new product features and insights.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements for data-driven capabilities.
• Translate acquisitions workflows into scalable tools for institutional investors.
• Apply LLMs and other AI techniques to automate research and accelerate workflows.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on multifamily acquisitions and investor needs.
• Create dashboards and analyses to communicate findings and opportunities.
• Stay updated on multifamily trends, data sources, and investment methodologies.
