Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Multifamily Business Development Manager to own and grow our Outdoors product specifications across the United States. You will develop regional market strategies, manage key relationships with developers, architects, and distributors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to win new opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years demonstrated success driving multifamily specification of building materials through contract and project pathways.
• Track record of building productive relationships with purchasing and specification decision makers inside multifamily developer organizations.
• Experience growing business at the multifamily builder level while developing and sustaining channel partner relationships.
• Ability to operate independently and manage a complex, multi-stakeholder territory delivering measurable revenue outcomes.
• Proficiency translating cross-functional resources into customer-facing solutions that win business.
• Valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional market strategy targeting multifamily owners, developers, architects, and asset management firms to grow Fortune Brands Outdoors product specifications and market share.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with key decision makers inside multifamily developer organizations to retain existing business and secure new opportunities.
• Partner with territory managers, pro dealers, fabricators, and distributor networks to drive revenue through channel partners in your geography.
• Support execution of multifamily developer projects from specification through close for a seamless customer experience.
• Contribute to regional efforts advancing national multifamily developer contract strategies.
• Leverage finance, product, operations, and marketing resources to deliver customer-focused solutions and profitable growth.
• Travel within your territory to maintain and deepen account relationships, with overnight travel about twice per month.
