Job summary

SHG is seeking a Multi-State Associate Attorney licensed in two or more jurisdictions (IN, NC, SC, TN, VA). This fully remote role supports a national footprint with limited travel for hearings and firm events. The candidate should have 3+ years of substantive experience, strong advocacy, and comfort working in a collaborative, remote environment.

Base salary ranges $85,000–$100,000 DOE with comprehensive benefits and ongoing growth opportunities within a supportive structure.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3 years of substantive legal experience.
• Active licensure in two or more listed states.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.
• High level of organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cases from intake through resolution.
• Develop and execute legal strategies based on investigation and analysis.
• Maintain substantive communications with courts, agencies, clients, and opposing counsel.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals; prepare agreements.
• Appear at hearings and trials as necessary.
