Job summary

CCMSI is hiring a Multi-Line Claim Representative I (Auto/Property) for national accounts. The role handles auto and property claims from assignment to resolution in a remote, full-time capacity, with a focus on accuracy, communication, and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of claim handling experience (commercial auto and/or property).
• Foundational understanding of commercial auto coverage.
• Experience or training in liability investigations and negligence evaluation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with strong follow-through and accountability.
• Current adjuster license in home state.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjust commercial auto and property claims per standards and client guidelines.
• Determine compensability and exposure using policy knowledge.
• Conduct thorough liability investigations with data gathering and analysis.
• Apply negligence concepts in claim evaluation and decision-making.
• Maintain reserves within authority guidelines.
• Review estimates and invoices for accuracy and relevance.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits and client expectations.
• Issue payments per CCMSI procedures and industry standards.
• Keep accurate documentation and diary entries; timely file updates.
• Communicate effectively with clients, claimants, and vendors.
