Job summary

CCMSI is seeking a Multi-Jurisdiction Claims Adjuster for auto and property damage on a nationwide remote program. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve first-party auto and property claims across jurisdictions, applying coverage provisions and managing reserves within authority.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of claim handling, active adjuster licenses, and strong diary and organizational skills to move files efficiently from assignment to closure while delivering quality

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum of claim handling experience, including first-party auto and/or property.
• Current adjuster license in home state or designated home state.
• Ability to obtain and maintain additional licenses (NY strongly preferred; FL, TX, AZ, and others a plus)
• Experience handling: First-Party Auto Claims; Property Damage Claims; Coverage Analysis; Liability Investigations
• Foundational understanding of coverage analysis and liability investigation
• Ability to manage a moderate caseload in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain consistent diary follow‑up
• Experience evaluating damages and handling claims through resolution
• Familiarity with multi‑jurisdiction claim handling
• Strong analytical and decision‑making capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Reliable, predictable attendance during assigned client service hours

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjust first‑party auto and property damage claims from assignment through final resolution
• Analyze coverage and apply policy provisions to determine compensability
• Conduct timely claim investigations and collect supporting documentation
• Review photos, incident reports, repair estimates, invoices, witness statements, and other claim materials
• Establish and maintain reserves within authorized authority levels
• Evaluate vehicle damage, property damage, and related loss exposures
• Review injury‑related documentation and evaluate liability exposures when applicable
• Negotiate settlements within authority and client expectations
• Maintain accurate documentation, claim notes, and diary management activities
• Communicate professionally with claimants, clients, vendors, and internal business partners
• Coordinate with attorneys and defense counsel when litigation arises
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Claim Standards and service commitments
