Job summary

CCMSI is hiring a Commercial Auto & Liability Claims Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve assigned auto liability claims across national accounts. You will handle first‑ and third‑party property damage, bodily injury, subrogation opportunities, and select litigated matters while ensuring compliance with standards and state laws.

This remote role offers Mon‑Fri schedules and opportunities to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial auto, liability, or multi‑line claims handling experience.
• Active homestate adjuster license is required.
• Experience managing claims from investigation through final resolution.
• Experience handling commercial auto liability, bodily injury, first‑ and third‑party property damage claims.
• Strong liability investigation and claim evaluation skills.
• Experience establishing reserves and negotiating settlements.
• Experience managing attorney‑represented claims.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjust commercial auto liability claims from assignment through resolution.
• Handle first-party and third-party property damage claims.
• Evaluate bodily injury exposures and develop appropriate resolution strategies.
• Conduct liability investigations and gather supporting documentation, statements, reports, and evidence.
• Review medical records, repair estimates, invoices, and claim-related documentation.
• Establish and maintain appropriate reserves based on claim exposure.
