SHI International Corp. in the United States is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our MSP team.

This role focuses on implementing, administering, and troubleshooting Windows Server environments, Microsoft infrastructure services, and business-critical apps across multiple customer environments. You will work with customers and senior technical staff across cloud and hybrid environments, applying security hardening, scripting with PowerShell, and contributing to documentation and transition to

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Systems Engineer/Infrastructure Engineer in MSP or enterprise.
• Expertise with Windows Server versions, patching, security, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on AD DS, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, certs, trusts, replication and identity troubleshooting.
• Experience with IIS, RDS, file services, failover clustering, SQL Server dependencies.
• Experience with Hyper-V/VMware virtualization and high-availability concepts.
• PowerShell scripting for admin tasks, data collection, and reporting.
• Strong documentation, collaboration, and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support Windows Server environments across MSP customers.
• Deploy and troubleshoot Microsoft infrastructure services and server apps.
• Support hybrid identity solutions with on-prem AD and Entra ID sync.
• Build, upgrade, and migrate server platforms; manage hardware refreshes.
• Troubleshoot OS, authentication, app, storage, and performance issues.
• Apply security hardening and patching per standards.
• Design and support high-availability via clustering, load balancing, backups, DR.
• Create PowerShell scripts for automation and health checks.
• Document builds, procedures, configurations, and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotation and critical-incident response.
