Job summary

SHI is hiring a Systems Engineer to join its MSP team. You will implement and support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft infrastructure services across multiple customer environments, with emphasis on on-prem and hybrid deployments.

Ideal candidates bring solid troubleshooting, scripting in PowerShell, and strong collaboration with customers and senior technical teams. The role includes on-call responsibilities and ongoing documentation tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in MSP or enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on with Windows Server, AD DS, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V/ VMware) and backup/recovery concepts.
• Experience supporting Microsoft server platforms and SQL Server infra dependencies.
• Familiarity with hybrid environments and Entra ID integration.

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, and support Windows Server environments across MSP customers.
• Deploy, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Microsoft infrastructure services and apps.
• Support hybrid identity solutions integrating on-prem AD with Entra ID.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and automation scripts (PowerShell).
• Participate in server builds, migrations, and data center modernization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and deliver solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotation and support critical incidents.
