Grifols is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to join an international team to advance the understanding of alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency in the Pulmonary area. This field-based role covers the West region and requires residence within the region; remote work is allowed.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific field (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent).
• Strong scientific and clinical background required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to discuss complex scientific information with experts.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through scientific exchange.
• Engage in one-on-one scientific discussions with therapeutic area experts to extract insights.
• Disseminate new scientific data to inform physicians about evidence supporting treatment of alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency.
• Maintain current knowledge of literature, guidelines, and standards of care.
• Serve as a scientific resource to academic centers, centers of excellence, and key accounts.
• Support medical congresses, advisory boards, and clinical trial sites; train speakers.
