Job summary

Grifols is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison to engage with key opinion leaders in pulmonary therapy, focusing on alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. The role covers the West region, with home-based flexibility and travel across CA, NV, UT and neighboring states.

You will translate science to clinicians, build partnerships, and support medical affairs strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong scientific background (PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent) and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong scientific and clinical background required.
• Proven ability to communicate complex medical information clearly.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the pulmonary space.
• Engage in one-on-one scientific exchange with area experts to obtain clinical insights.
• Disseminate new scientific data relevant to alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency to physicians.
• Maintain current knowledge of literature, guidelines, and standards of care in the territory.
• Serve as a scientific resource to academic centers, researchers, and key accounts.
