Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to act as a field-based expert in the Pulmonary therapeutic area, focusing on alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. You will develop relationships with thought leaders and translate scientific knowledge to external healthcare communities.

This full-time remote role covers the West region (CA, NV, UT, OR, WA, ID, MT, TX, NM, AZ, WY). Resident within the region near a major airport is preferred, with significant travel expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, strategic, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex scientific and medical information.
• Self-directed with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Valid driver’s license and travel readiness within the region.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through scientific exchange.
• Engage in one-on-one scientific discussions with therapeutic area experts.
• Disseminate new scientific data to inform physicians about evidence supporting treatment.
• Maintain current knowledge of literature, guidelines and standards of care.
• Serve as scientific resource to academic centers, investigators and key accounts.
• Support medical congresses, advisory boards and clinical trial sites.
