Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to join an international team, focusing on alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. The remote West region includes CA, NV, UT, OR, WA, ID, MT, TX, NM, AZ and WY, with travel to major airports as needed.

The MSL will build relationships with KOLs, translate scientific data for physicians, stay current with guidelines, and support medical congresses, advisory boards, and trial sites while adhering to applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific field (PharmD/MD/PhD or allied nursing)
• Minimum of two years in clinical practice, academia, or pharma
• Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders through scientific exchange
• Provide one-on-one scientific discussions with topic experts
• Disseminate new data to inform physicians on alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency treatments
• Keep up-to-date with literature, guidelines and care standards
• Support cross-functional activities: congresses, boards, training, and trial sites
• Conduct formal scientific presentations to healthcare audiences
• Represent Grifols Medical Affairs and communicate priorities and research interests
