Job summary

Herzing University in Chicago seeks a MS-CMHC Clinical Director to oversee practicum and internship fieldwork, ensuring CACREP alignment and collaboration with program leadership on curriculum, assessment, and accreditation activities.

The role develops fieldwork partnerships, supports students and site supervisors, and oversees placements while coordinating with the MS-CMHC Program Chair on policies and fieldwork documentation.

Qualifications

• PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.
• 5 years of experience in higher education.
• Experience with CACREP accreditation.
• Experience in clinical supervision.
• Licensed Professional Counselor or equivalent licensure by state law.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the initial CACREP accreditation process for the MS-CMHC program.
• Develop the program curriculum and assessment plan with program leadership.
• Develop partnerships with local and regional sites for fieldwork placements.
• Maintain fieldwork agreements between Herzing University and sites.
• Complete accreditation candidacy components related to fieldwork.
• Advise on program policies and provide the Fieldwork Manual to students.
