Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks a Digital Solution Consultant to drive MPC/APC assessments, benefit studies, and solution scoping in a remote role with travel to customer sites. Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree, 5+ years in manufacturing-related roles, and knowledge of MPC/APC. Travel up to 40% is required, and a valid driver's license is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to travel 40% of the time.
• Valid driver's license.
• Typically requires 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or supporting manufacturing customers.
• Knowledge of MPC/APC, process optimization, PFDs, P&IDs, and control strategies.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional pre-sales pursuits in global organizations.
• Familiarity with advanced analytics, including AI, machine learning, or neural networks.

Responsibilities

• Customer discovery and qualification.
• Lead technical qualification of opportunities by evaluating application fit and data needs.
• Support Sales in qualifying opportunities using MEDPICC, BANT, or similar frameworks.
• Lead Benefits Studies to quantify improvements and develop business cases.
• Review process diagrams to assess MPC/APC suitability.
• Translate assessment findings into recommended solution scope and BOM.
• Own end-to-end proposal workflow and handoff to delivery.
• Provide technical sales support and present Benefits Studies to stakeholders.
