Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Digital Solution Consultant to act as a pre-sales expert in Process Optimization, MPC, and APC. Remote role with travel to client sites, reporting to the MPC Sales Manager.

You will engage with sales and cross-functional teams to translate process findings into credible value propositions and guide investment decisions. The role covers customer discovery, qualification, benefits studies, proposal scoping, and technical sales support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to travel 40% of the time.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Own customer engagement and pre-sales activities supporting MPC/APC opportunities.
• Lead technical qualification of opportunities by evaluating application fit and data availability.
• Document assumptions and data limitations underlying benefit estimates.
• Translate assessment findings into a solution scope and BOM for proposals.
• Provide technical sales support with presentations that establish value for MPC solutions.
