Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks a Digital Solution Consultant to advance MPC/APC solutions remotely, with travel to customer sites. You will support the sales cycle from discovery through scoping, developing credible value propositions and solution proposals.

Responsibilities include leading technical qualification, benefits studies, scope definition, and delivering proposals aligned with Rockwell's standards, while partnering with sales and delivery teams to drive customer value and orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• The ability to travel 40% of the time.
• A valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Own customer engagement and pre-sales qualification.
• Lead technical qualification of opportunities.
• Support Sales with MEDPICC, BANT qualification.
• Clarify business problem, objectives, and requirements.
• Lead Benefits Studies to quantify improvements.
• Review PFDs, P&IDs and procedures for MPC suitability.
• Document assumptions and data limitations in benefit estimates.
• Translate findings into solution scope and BOM.
• Oversee end-to-end proposal workflow and handoff to delivery.
• Deliver technical presentations and ROI proofs.
• Contribute to training materials and go-to-market feedback.
