Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Origination Supervisor to lead a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators. The role ensures timely collection of documents for processing, underwriting, and closing, while driving loan volume and forging referral relationships with real estate brokers and builders.

You will recruit, develop, and engage staff to support growth across lines. The role requires NMLS registration and compliance with federal and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of mortgage, sales, real estate, or banking experience.
• Knowledge of mortgage products, services, operations, and market trends.
• Familiarity with underwriting and pricing concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Ensure documents for processing, underwriting and closing are secured timely.
• Develop referral relationships with brokers, builders, and other sources.
• Recruit and retain talent; manage employee development and engagement.
• Collaborate with U.S. Bank Home Mortgage and other lines to grow client relationships.
