Rate is a leading retail mortgage lender based in Chicago with remote support from Eastern Standard Time. The role pays $25 per hour, with a $75 bonus per closed file, and involves working closely with Loan Officers to guide clients through the mortgage process.

The position emphasizes scheduling, loan-review, and timely closing, while offering comprehensive training and state-of-the-art technology to manage pipelines and deliver excellent client service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent experience in an operational role preferred in residential mortgage industry (Conventional, FHA, VA).
• Recent experience with DPA loans is required.
• Strong communication, detail orientation, and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work with Loan Officers to ensure a timely, accurate mortgage process for clients from purchase to close.
• Schedule and track closing dates, contingency dates, and loan lock expirations.
• Review loan approvals and address conditions for underwriting and closing.
• Receive training and become expert on home loan products and mortgage process.
• Prepare and submit loan files to Closing Department.
