Job summary

Zillow Group is seeking a purchase-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to originate and close home loans for customers within Zillow’s ecosystem. You will guide borrowers from first contact to funding, in either a high-volume, digital environment or a relationship-based model, with performance-driven KPIs to measure success.

This remote role requires residing in Kansas, with optional time in an office. Competitive base pay plus incentives and equity awards are offered, with licensing and ongoing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with emphasis on purchase transactions.
• Completion of CORE Pre-Licensing Education and SAFE MLO Test.
• Physically located in Kansas and working remotely from Kansas.
• Proven success originating purchase loans in high-volume or agent-centric models.
• Strong client service orientation with consultative sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and consultation.
• Build relationships with customers and Zillow Preferred Agents and local partners.
• Manage an active pipeline to meet service levels and funding expectations.
• Leverage CRM and LOS to manage pipeline health and engagement.
• Collaborate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently.
• Deliver high-quality customer experiences via phone, email, and text.
