Job summary

Zillow Home Loans, part of Zillow Group, is seeking a purchase-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to originate home loans for customers within Zillow’s ecosystem. You’ll guide borrowers from first contact through funding, in either a high-volume digital setting or a relationship-based market model.

Based in Hawaii and working remotely, you’ll operate under clear KPIs, leverage CRM/LOS systems, and collaborate with centralized teams to deliver a best-in-class experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with a strong emphasis on purchase transactions.
• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and SAFE Mortgage Test.
• Physically located in and working remotely from Hawaii.
• Proven success originating purchase loans in high-volume or agent-centric models.
• Strong client service orientation with consultative sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up.
• Build strong relationships with customers and Zillow Preferred Agents.
• Manage an active pipeline to meet service levels and funding expectations.
• Leverage Zillow’s CRM, LOS, and data-driven tools to manage engagement.
• Partner with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience through phone, email, and text.
• Stay current on market trends, lending programs, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain active licensing and ongoing professional development.
