Job summary

Cascade Financial Services is seeking a Loan Counselor to manage mobile home mortgage accounts from early delinquency through resolution. You will focus on borrower outreach, payment collection, counseling, and loss mitigation while ensuring compliance with investor and agency guidelines.

The role requires strong negotiation and communication skills, with familiarity in mortgage servicing systems and MS Office. Remote work opportunities are available across the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• 1–3 years mortgage collections or servicing experience, with mobile homes preferred.
• Working knowledge of GSE, FHA, VA, and Conventional loan programs.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of mobile home mortgage loans across delinquency stages.
• Conduct outbound and inbound borrower contact to resolve delinquencies.
• Analyze borrower finances and counsel on available options.
• Negotiate repayment plans and pursue full reinstatement.
