Job summary

FirstBank is seeking a Mortgage Closing Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the closing department, including Closers, Funders and ICD Specialists. Remote-eligible with a footprint in TN, KY, AL, GA, you will ensure timely, accurate closings and uphold policy standards.

You will collaborate with title companies and lenders, oversee compliance with federal and state regulations, coach staff, and drive performance within the ROC framework to deliver top-tier service.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in mortgage closing
• Management experience in operations
• Understanding of lending industry trends and mortgage products (FHA/USDA/Conventional)
• Exceptional communication, supervision, math, customer service, and organization skills

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day management of closing department staff including Closers, Funders and ICD Specialists
• Interface with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage officers to ensure a successful close
• Oversee mortgage loan closings and elevate service levels for customers
• Participate in ROC Leadership Team and promote ROC goals
• Manage closing pipeline and communicate for a successful closing
• Ensure compliance with lender underwriting guidelines and federal/state regulations
• Develop and coach staff, fostering diversity and performance
