Job summary

West Capital Lending, Inc. seeks a motivated Loan Officer for a 100% remote role focused on Honolulu, HI. You will manage the full loan cycle for residential mortgages, from application through closing, leveraging virtual tools and strong client communication.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in lending, deep product knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting while building relationships with clients and referral partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Loan Officer or Mortgage LLO preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products and underwriting guidelines.
• Excellent communication, sales, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans including Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM products.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and referrals.
• Guide borrowers through the loan application process with clear, timely updates.
• Analyze borrower financials to recommend appropriate loan products.
• Ensure loan files meet federal, state, and investor requirements.
• Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams for timely closings.
• Stay updated on lending guidelines and market trends.
