Job summary

West Capital Lending, Inc. is seeking a motivated Loan Officer to join our growing team in a remote capacity focused on Milwaukee, WI. You will manage the loan process from application to closing, working in a virtual environment with strong client communication.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of Mortgage LO experience, deep mortgage product knowledge, and the ability to work independently while meeting compliance standards and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Loan Originator license (NMLS) is required.
• 2+ years as a Loan Officer or Mortgage Loan Originator preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products and underwriting guidelines.
• Excellent communication, sales, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans, including Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and referral partners.
• Guide borrowers through the loan application process and provide timely communication.
• Analyze borrower financials and recommend appropriate loan products.
• Ensure loan files meet federal, state, and investor compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams for timely closings.
• Stay updated on lending guidelines, market trends, and rate changes.
