Job summary

Roche is seeking a Consultant to demonstrate the end-to-end value of Molecular Diagnostics and Roche Consulting services. You will engage hospitals and labs, assess complex workflows, and deliver practical, evidence-based recommendations to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and turnaround times.

You will analyze lab operations, perform workflow planning, and partner with Roche teams to translate customer priorities into sustainable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a closely related technical field.
• Experience with process mapping, statistical and reporting tools.
• 5 years of experience in Operations, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, or equivalent leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess end-to-end molecular testing workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze volumes, staffing, throughput, and bottlenecks to optimize performance.
• Apply process mapping, data analysis, capacity modeling, and rapid improvement methods to deliver findings.
• Evaluate workflows with cobas systems and connected automation for requirements.
• Improve scheduling, prioritization, specimen flow, and instrument utilization while maintaining quality and safety.
• Assess LIS and data-flow considerations affecting workflow performance.
