Job summary

Roche is seeking a Consultant to optimize molecular diagnostics workflows for hospitals, IDNs, and reference laboratories. You will assess end-to-end testing operations, identify bottlenecks, and develop practical, evidence-based recommendations that improve throughput, quality, safety, and turnaround times.

This is a remote, field-based role with travel expectations and a competitive salary. This is a remote, field-based position based near Indianapolis, with travel up to 75% and a salary range

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
• 5 years in Operations/Engineering/Quality with cross-functional leadership.
• Experience with process mapping and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assess end-to-end molecular testing workflows.
• Analyze workflow capacity, staffing, and bottlenecks.
• Apply consulting approaches to deliver recommendations.
• Evaluate cobas systems and integrated automation.
• Support pre-sales and implementation with workflow planning.
• Communicate findings and support cross-functional handoffs.
