Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a Modern Workplace Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and administrators. You will oversee daily operations, design, troubleshooting, and delivery across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and related technologies while staying hands-on when needed.

This remote-friendly role supports residents in approved states and reports to the Director of Modern Workplace Engineering.

Formación

• Seven or more years of progressive experience in Microsoft 365, endpoint engineering, infrastructure, or related field.
• Three or more years of formal people-management or team-leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience acceptable.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and multiple Modern Workplace disciplines.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and guiding engineers through resolution.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Experience coaching technical employees and managing performance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Modern Workplace engineers and administrators.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, collaboration, identity, security, automation, and device management.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex incidents and architectural decisions.
• Participate in discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation when needed.
• Review designs, scripts, configurations, and procedures for quality, security, and scalability.
• Coordinate delivery across Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows, macOS, MECM, Autopilot, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, Power Platform, Copilot, etc.
