INSPYR Solutions seeks a Manager in Model Risk Management to lead governance, validation oversight, and regulatory compliance for a large banking client. You will manage the model inventory, oversee independent validation, and drive remediation across risk, technology and business teams.

The role requires deep regulatory knowledge, strong stakeholder influence, and the ability to operate in a highly regulated environment from a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Model Risk Management, Governance, Validation, Quantitative or Enterprise Risk Management.
• Strong knowledge of SR 11-7, SR 26-2 and related supervisory expectations.
• Hands-on with model inventory, governance, validation oversight, monitoring and risk assessments.
• Experience reviewing documentation, validation reports, remediation plans and vendor submissions.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee enterprise model inventory with classification, ownership and governance.
• Oversee independent model validation, ensuring tests are performed, documented and approved.
• Monitor model performance, findings and remediation; escalate as needed.
• Assess third-party or vendor models and validation evidence.
• Support risk tiering and governance decisions by complexity and risk.
• Collaborate with owners, validators, risk managers and business stakeholders.
• Review model documentation, validation reports and remediation plans.
• Develop governance documentation, reporting and presentations for senior management and regulators.
