Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a remote Model Risk Advisor to strengthen AI governance across the enterprise. You will promote policy adoption, maintain model inventories, assess risk, and drive improvements through governance controls and KRIs.

In this role you will partner with risk, audit, and data teams, develop executive dashboards, and support validation activities while navigating regulatory expectations for AI and model risk within a remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Model risk management, risk or audit.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and auditing principles.
• Ability to communicate complex AI governance topics clearly.
• Experience deploying model risk programs at scale.
• Understanding of AI governance principles, ethics, and regulatory concepts.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness and adoption of AI governance policies and practices.
• Establish and maintain model inventories with ownership and risk ratings.
• Assess model risk by complexity, regulatory requirements, and business impact.
• Implement and maintain MRMFs, controls, and procedures.
• Monitor governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance.
• Support model validation by defining scope and documenting findings.
• Participate in AI governance oversight, audits and risk assessments.
• Develop reporting and executive insights on model risk and controls.
• Collaborate with risk, auditors, and data teams to maintain governance documentation.
• Monitor evolving regulatory expectations related to AI and model risk.
