Ford Motor Company seeks a customer-centric Mobile Engineering Manager to lead and develop mobile engineers building world-class iOS and Android experiences. You will collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineering leaders to set direction and deliver valuable mobile apps at scale.

You will drive technical direction, foster a strong engineering culture, and ensure early, reliable releases while maintaining high quality and performance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on software development experience.
• 5+ years leading large-scale engineering teams and organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of mobile engineers delivering customer-facing applications used by millions of drivers.
• Provide technical leadership from product conception through production, ensuring scalable, reliable, and high-quality mobile experiences.
• Review and provide feedback on product designs, technical architectures, and engineering approaches.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging mobile technologies, tools, and engineering practices.
• Establish standards for technical documentation, code quality, testing, and operational excellence.
• Partner effectively with product managers, product designers, engineering leaders, and other technical experts to align priorities and deliver customer value.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive engineering culture focused on continuous learning, ownership, and delivering measurable results.
