Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Diesel Tech II to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs in a remote field setting nationwide in the United States. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years in a related field or 5 years of related experience.
• DOT regulations compliance awareness and DOT medical/dot card requirements.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months; ASE T3/T4/T5/T6/T7/T8 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and diesel systems on trucks.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck inventory; document RO with iOS TRAIT app.
