Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Mobile Repair Technician for a remote role based in Florida with primary activity across the US and international sites. You will perform on-wing inspections, repairs and installations, traveling to meet customer needs and ensuring safety and quality in field operations.

The ideal candidate has an A&P license, 6+ years in engine work, and the ability to obtain a US passport for international assignments.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2-year post high school training with 6+ years of engine inspection/refurbishment/repair experience.
• Active Airframe & Powerplant License.
• Ability to obtain US Passport and international visa.
• Current valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile repair team activities in US and non-US locations, refurbishing and returning engines, modules and components to service.
• Maintain availability status for Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations.
• Provide hangar and field support, interface with customers and ensure excellent service.
• Perform engine trouble shooting and diagnostics, including EEC software upgrades; support program activities as required.
• Be flexible to work after hours, weekends and holidays; up to 90% travel domestically and internationally.
