Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Dallas is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician to support our FAR 145 repair station in Dallas, TX. You will perform engine maintenance, troubleshooting, and line repairs for Pratt & Whitney commercial engines in a FAA-regulated shop.

The role requires an FAA A&P license, a minimum of 6 months experience in engine repair, and flexibility to travel. A strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork is essential in this onsite position.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED in the US) with a minimum of 1-year relevant experience.
• Holder of a valid Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant license
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in repair of commercial aircraft engines

Responsibilities

• Provide aircraft engine maintenance/repair at the Dallas shop.
• Perform engine troubleshooting and module removal/replacement.
• Conduct line maintenance including LRU removal/replacement.
• Follow Aircraft/Engine Shop Manuals and data.
• Ensure safety and environmental requirements.
• Travel to customer locations as needed.
