Job summary

StandardAero is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to support field operations across the United States. The role involves mobile service activities on gas turbine powered aircraft, troubleshooting, engine changes and repairs in the field, with the ability to be based anywhere in the U.S.

An A&P license and strong communication skills are required. Applicants should expect travel between 70–90%, demonstrate PC proficiency, and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must hold an A&P license and be able to work under federal aviation regulations.
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Technical training or degree with knowledge of gas turbine engines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of gas turbine engines in the field per manufacturer instructions.
• Attach powerplant components and install related accessories on aircraft.
• Monitor tooling calibrations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Issue airworthiness determinations and release work to service when completed.
• Travel to customer sites and coordinate with teams to minimize downtime.
