Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a lead innovator in aerospace propulsion, seeks a skilled industrial technician for onsite support. You will troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and power transmission systems, while maintaining HVAC, piping, and electrical services across the facility.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Expect blueprints/schematics reading, TPM, and occasional travel for training.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Pneumatic systems experience is required.
• A/C and refrigeration knowledge.
• Vacuum systems proficiency.
• Ability to fabricate 2+ years Industrial Technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and power transmission systems using multimeters, gauges, and recording equipment to standards.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility support services equipment including HVAC and process piping, electrical services and wiring.
• Perform regular TPM, machine checks, and schedule/perform repairs.
• Respond to production emergencies and report potentially dangerous situations.
• Read blueprints and wiring schematics; diagnose and repair electronic controls and associated systems.
