Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a Medicaid modernization project from a remote location with limited travel to client sites. You will manage vendor cohorts, maintain schedules, assess risks, and align with CMS procurement requirements.

This role emphasizes PMO governance, cross-functional leadership, and delivery excellence across multiple vendors. The position requires PMP or equivalent certification, 8+ years of program management, and a track record of on-time

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience running multiple concurrent projects.
• 6+ years Medicaid Systems/operations project management.
• 4+ years managing projects in assigned area.
• 3-5 years experience managing multi-vendor projects.
• 3-5 years hands-on with Microsoft Project.
• 2-4 years of experience with Certification and CMS procurement requirements.
• 1-2 years performing procurement work (RFIs/RFPs, vendor selection).
• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Acting as primary point of contact for vendor/cohort.
• Responsible for health and quality of the vendor/cohort project.
• Keep all phases of the vendor/cohort project on time.
• Oversee daily activities of the vendor/cohort team and assignments.
• Develop and maintain a project schedule; monitor milestones.
• Identify, manage and report on project risks and issues.
• Review project deliverables and work products for PMO.
• Assess risk and effectiveness of mitigation strategies.
• Support NTT Project Management methodology and guidance.
• Develop and execute Program/Integrated Project Plans.
• Monitor progress against the Project Management Plan.
• Evaluate contractor work plans and resource allocations.
• Participate in project activities and doc reviews.
• Monitor risk, issues, budget, scope changes, and controls.
• Prepare status reports and meeting agendas.
• Contribute to organizational project strategy decisions.
