Placements24 seeks a Remote Process Optimization Specialist to leverage data analytics and AI/ML techniques for mining process improvement from a remote location. You will analyze diverse processes, build models, and collaborate with on-site teams to drive efficiency and sustainability across global operations.

Competenze

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Process Engineering, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
• 6+ years in process engineering, optimization, or related role, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (Python, R, MATLAB).
• Experience with process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HSC Chemistry) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Applied statistics, machine learning, and AI to solve complex industrial problems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Analyze operational data from mining processes to identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop and implement models for process simulation, forecasting, and performance improvement.
• Collaborate remotely with on-site engineers, geologists, and operations managers to implement solutions.
• Design and test new process control strategies and algorithms to enhance recovery and throughput.
