Job summary

Liebherr-America, Inc. seeks a Business Development Manager for Mining Aftermarket (Remote) to expand the national aftermarket components business, concentrating on drives, slewing bearings and hydraulic cylinders for non‑Liebherr mining equipment.

You will identify opportunities, build relationships with customers and stakeholders, and develop service/remanufacturing strategies. Expect up to 80% travel in North America and strong selling and negotiation responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mining or Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years in the Mining industry and at least 3 years in Sales, Sales Support, Application Engineering, Business Development or Product Management.
• Experience and proven success in sales and/or service with heavy machinery/components in the mining industry or related companies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the growth and expansion of Liebherr’s national aftermarket components business, focusing on drives, slewing bearings, and hydraulic cylinders for non‑Liebherr mining excavators and haul trucks.
• Pursue new business opportunities through regular customer engagement at mine sites, corporate offices, maintenance facilities, and other key customer locations.
• Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with customers, service partners, and market influencers to support long‑term growth.
• Develop and implement Mining Aftermarket service and remanufacturing strategies across internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel extensively across North America to support customer engagement and strategic sales objectives.
