Job summary

Liebherr Mining Equipment Newport News Co. in the United States seeks a Regional Sales Support Manager to back Liebherr’s sales team and local dealers. You will provide technical data, coordinate with factory departments, and ensure accurate LIAS quotations and delivery planning.

Travel up to 40% internationally, maintain CRM records and support invoicing with Sales Admin. A combination of education and experience in mining equipment or related fields is required; home-based work is eligible.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related technical field or Business Administration.
• Minimum 1 year in the mining equipment industry.
• Sales or sales support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support documentation, calculations and technical data.
• Clarify and explain technical details to customers.
• Coordinate with factory in-house departments as required.
• Collect and distribute mining equipment KPI data.
• Provide mining equipment availability / slots.
• Raise LIAS intercompany quotations as required.
• Lead delivery planning when needed.
• Ensure LIAS purchase orders meet specs, pricing and terms.
• Provide Life Cycle and O&O cost calculations.
• Communicate delivery dates and manage delays.
• Clarify customer requirements across sales cycle phases.
• Arrange factory visits for end customers including presentations.
• Stay informed on market conditions and competition.
• Represent Liebherr at trade associations / events to promote products.
• Promote cost consciousness and align goals with strategy.
• Support a safe work environment and integrity in dealings.
