Optum is seeking a Millennium Patient Accounting Analyst to support our EHR services capabilities. The role collaborates with end users, project teams, and resources to deliver exemplary customer service and robust application support for Millennium-based revenue cycle processes.

The position offers remote work from anywhere in the U.S., with in-office requirements for Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. four days per week where applicable.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of experience in healthcare domain knowledge, system configuration, and clinical workflow support.
• 4+ year experience with Cerner Patient Accounting.
• 4+ year experience with third-party integration support and ops jobs management.
• Familiar with Cerner Patient Accounting workflows, claim rule configuration, claim edits, and workqueues.

Aufgaben

• Triage and resolve incidents logged by end users such as billing edits and claim rejects.
• Work queues and pre-bill edit resolution; re-bill and re-file workflows.
• Validate and support charge capture across clinical areas; troubleshoot missing/incorrect charge events.
• Monitor batch jobs and revenue extracts; collaborate with clearinghouse/EDI teams for claim rejections.
• Own and manage Tier 2 support tickets through resolution; document fixes.
• Coordinate with Tier 3 and vendor support for escalations.
