Job summary

UPM, a global renewables and materials company, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the Central U.S. remote role. You will manage and grow a multi-state Midwest territory, develop customer relationships, and deliver value through tailored solutions.

The role requires 5 years in sales management in printing/packaging, plus BS in Business or related field. Travel up to 50% and reporting to the Senior Sales Manager - Central.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Business or related discipline.
• 5 years of Sales Management experience in the printing or packaging industry.
• Proven track record in territory sales management (B2B).
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to relate to a diverse audience.
• Live in assigned sales area with multi-state territory.

Responsibilities

• You will develop existing and new customer relationships, identify key decision makers and deliver value effectively.
• You will serve as a trusted partner to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs.
• You will be responsible for overall commercial execution - including volume, sales and margin growth within the territory to align with company objectives.
• You will manage customers business portfolio, product list and product pricelist to deliver required level of profitability and take corrective actions where targets are not being achieved.
• You will negotiate business terms, annual agreements and contracts and ensure that agreements are documented and stored as required.
• You will collaborate with internal teams to identify, develop and position solutions that best meet customer needs and organizational objectives.
• You will maintain sales forecast and pipeline management on existing and new business opportunities, provide market and business intelligence on customer activity.
• You will provide account updates that identify key growth opportunities in targeted high value product lines and develop strategy to achieve organizational goals.
