Job summary

Omega Bio-tek, Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth in the Midwest region. This remote role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, expanding key accounts, and closing sales.

You will build and execute sales strategies, present products to customers, and attend industry events. A background in genomics with experience in DNA/RNA workflows is essential, along with willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience selling genomic products or services.
• Experience or knowledge of workflows with DNA & RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, microarrays and NGS.
• Must reside in the Midwest US region (Chicago, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, St Louis preferred).
• BS Degree in life science area, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and execute sales strategy and plans to achieve quarterly and annual goals in the Midwest territory.
• Maintain and expand customer base with emphasis on major accounts.
• Communicate market trends and customer information to management.
• Report revenue targets and product forecasts regularly.
• Attend local and national tradeshows.
• Create customer pricing strategies.
• Deliver technical presentations on products to customers.
